Established in 2015, Independent Fire Inspections Ltd
focuses on the gap in quality provision of passive fire protection inspections
and offers related competence training. Inadequate
installations of passive fire protection combined with a lack of understanding
of those who inspect or assess fire protection can put lives and property at
risk in the event of a fire.
Considering current regulations, approved documents and
standards, IFI Ltd provide independent passive fire protection surveys and
reports to assist the responsible person in their compliance requirements; helping
to ensure their property is fit for purpose.
Using our extensive experience of passive fire protection, we
provide training for those who install, inspect or risk assess passive fire
protection installations within the built environment. Our company aim is to offer
relevant, focussed and comprehensive training which allows attendees to enhance
their competence in relation to their passive fire protection work.
Independent Fire Inspections Ltd were the first company in
the United Kingdom and Ireland to provide a Fire Inspection Training Scheme for
those who inspect passive fire protection. The course provides attendees with
the necessary knowledge, techniques and skills to complete passive fire
protection inspections and reports. The course is available online with
examinations being undertaken to evidence the understanding of candidates, and to
ensure practical application of the learnt objectives we offer an accompanied site
assessment visit.

Flow Systems – Passionate About Performance
IPS

BS 9251 standard never mind the new, proposed, updated version which is due out
later this year. The FloWatch unit will monitors flow switches, tank low level,
pump fault alarms and has a visual alarm, audible alarm and MODBUS capabilities
making it a very easy install and integrate into any system.
IPS will
also be exhibiting Spears FlameGuard® CPVC, RM press fit range of products and
Prevent Mist nozzles…
Spears
FlameGuard® CPVC offers all of the fire protection and reliability of a
traditional piping system whilst offering a lower total installed cost,
compared to traditional metallic systems.
The RM
Pressfit range is an established

welding, or soldering to be done, the system provides tight, leak free joints
using a simple, portable press tool.
Prevent
